Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to successfully pass all pre-employment screenings
- 2+ years of relevant security experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including overnight shifts
- Excellent observational and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Exceptional guest service skills
- 2+ years security officer experience
- Ability to stay alert and proactive especially for overnight responsibilities
- Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments
- Ability to perform hourly patrols as required
- Overnight experience highly preferred
Job Duties
- Patrol the facility grounds including hallways common areas and parking lots as per assigned tour route
- Respond to unusual or suspicious activities
- Conduct regular checks on doors windows and other entry points to ensure they are secure
- Manage and monitor entry and exit of individuals ensuring unauthorized persons do not gain access
- Maintain logs of visitors and their purpose for visiting
- Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents fires or security breaches following established protocols
- Assist in evacuations during emergencies and ensure all individuals are accounted for
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
