This particular opportunity is for a FLEX Global Operations Coordinator within the HVMB (Hospitality, Venues, Meetings, and Banquets) Operations & Quality team, based at the Marriott International Headquarters in Bethesda, MD. The position is full-time and management level, offering an hourly pay range between $24.90 and $38.02 per hour. As a FLEX Global Operations Coordinator, the successful candidate will be integral to supporting the global operations team, particularly focusing on customer and partner support with an emphasis on fraud detection and chargeback management. This position demands a highly organized, detail-focused individual with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

In this role, the coordinator will act as a liaison among several internal and external stakeholders, including home management company partners, customer care teams, Loyalty Program Risk, Loyalty Support Services, and Accenture Hospitality Services. Key responsibilities include managing fraud workflows related to systems like Accertify and Ekata, handling chargeback processes such as documentation collection and response coordination, and providing detailed analytics on chargeback trends to inform strategic decisions.

The Global Operations Coordinator will also be responsible for managing partner system access, including provisioning and password resets, and will oversee weekly tasks related to Personal Identifiable Information requests in coordination with the Marriott International Data Services team. Supporting the finance team with operational inquiries and vendor payment processing via the Peoplesoft Accounts Payable system will be essential functions of this role. Beyond technical functions, this position requires excellent communication skills to maintain positive working relationships and to convey information efficiently across different groups within the organization.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or 4-year degree from an accredited university
  • Four years’ experience in business, sales and marketing, management operations, or related area
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience analyzing large data sets
  • Experience with Peoplesoft AP
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and 4 years’ experience in business, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area or 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets, interpret complex data, identify patterns and trends, and create detailed reports to inform decision making
  • Experience with Peoplesoft AP system

Job Duties

  • Manages the fraud workflows related to Accertify, Ekata, Loyalty Program Risk and Bonvoy points fraud review
  • Support chargeback management processes and workflows to include obtaining documentation, uploading chargeback response support, chargeback classification and provide reporting and analytics on chargeback trends
  • Resolve EID access related issues for current partners to include provisioning, password reset and EID audit support
  • Review and follow up to weekly Personal Identifiable Information requests from Marriott International Data Services team
  • Set up vendors for customers and process payments related to relocation stipends and refund processing errors on a weekly basis through Peoplesoft AP system
  • Create and send correspondence and payment processing links to guests for system related payment issues
  • Assist with research and resolve of financial operations inquiries and provide follow up as needed to inquiring parties
  • Implement and maintain HVMB Fraud playbook
