This position is a full-time, temporary assignment based remotely with an option of hybrid work for candidates within commuting distance to Bethesda, MD. Compensation varies by location, with hourly rates ranging from $46.15 to $76.77 in Bethesda, MD and Chicago, IL, and from $50.76 to $84.47 in New York, NY. The Manager, Account Management role is integral to supporting the expansion of Marriott's growing media network, Marriott Media. This role focuses on executing Marriott's account management reporting program, which delivers campaign measurement solutions to advertisers through collaborative efforts with Sales, Marketing Analytics, and Data Science teams.

As Manager, Account Management, you will be responsible for creating and delivering campaign reporting materials that provide insights and performance metrics to Marriott's advertising partners. You will be actively involved in the development of reporting templates and dashboards, collecting advertiser feedback, and supporting ongoing reporting initiatives for key partners. Your role is essential in ensuring that all reporting aligns with both advertiser business objectives and Marriott Media's strategic priorities.

The successful candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills, enabling the translation of complex performance data into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. You will work cross-functionally to harmonize reporting solutions with broader business goals, utilizing your expertise to communicate complex analyses in an accessible way. Staying current with the evolving MarTech and AdTech ecosystems, digital marketing trends, and emerging measurement practices is crucial. The role demands a strategic thinker who elevates analytical work and consistently seeks opportunities for improvement.

Key responsibilities include supporting the population and maintenance of advertiser reporting templates, preparing dashboards for client-facing reporting sessions, and leading detailed readouts with advertising partners. You will assist in implementing the measurement and reporting roadmap, coordinate with internal sales and partnerships teams, and contribute to the creation of customized measurement solutions. Troubleshooting and validating advertiser-specific reporting dashboards will also be part of your daily tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, data science, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital media or other digital business with analytical expertise
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to deliver insights to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to translate concepts into analytical or research tools
  • Preferred master's degree
  • Experience with SQL and PySpark
  • Knowledge of media advertising reporting
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
  • Understanding of data quality, Agile methodology, data privacy, marketing best practices
  • Familiarity with measurement science, statistical sampling, hypothesis testing, and synthetic control
  • Knowledge of media channels, marketing technology, audience segmentation, and customer data strategies

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in digital media or related digital business with analytical background
  • Strong technical and analytical foundation in marketing analytics
  • Proven experience driving analytical insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to translate theoretical concepts into analytical methodologies
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience with SQL and PySpark
  • Familiarity with media advertising reporting
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Support Marriott Media's Account Management team in populating advertiser reporting templates
  • Prepare dashboards for advertiser-facing reporting
  • Lead readouts with advertisers
  • Translate campaign and performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Assist in implementing the measurement and reporting roadmap
  • Maintain reporting templates, quality assurance processes, and documentation
  • Collaborate with Sales and Partnerships teams to align reporting needs with business objectives
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to document reporting deliverables and create custom measurement solutions
  • Build and troubleshoot advertiser-specific reporting dashboards and templates
  • Answer internal questions related to measurement and reporting
  • Validate all Marriott advertiser measurement and campaign performance regularly
  • Implement optimization opportunities on reporting capabilities and tools
