Job Description
Last Stop Garage is a full-service automotive maintenance and repair facility committed to ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable, and road-ready. As a key service provider for Drive Sally's fleet vehicles and retail customers, Last Stop Garage specializes in high-quality vehicle maintenance by utilizing disciplined workflows, technical excellence, and a commitment to strong service standards. This dedication enables the garage to deliver fast and consistent repair outcomes which help minimize vehicle downtime and maximize operational efficiency for its clients. Operating within a dynamic environment, Last Stop Garage is focused on supporting the transportation needs of a growing fleet through expert servicing and responsive support.
The role of Fleet Support Associate is crucial to the seamless operation of Sally’s fleet. This full-time position, compensated hourly within the range of $18 to $24, focuses on day-to-day fleet logistics and vehicle readiness processes to ensure that Sally’s vehicles are consistently safe, clean, and available for customer use. Reporting directly to the Manager of Service & Repair and the Manager of Operations, the Fleet Support Associate plays an instrumental role in minimizing fleet downtime by efficiently moving vehicles between locations, completing readiness tasks, conducting inspections, and responding swiftly to any vehicle-related concerns.
Success in this position is measured by how well vehicles are staged and prepared for drivers, the speed and accuracy of fleet task completion, and the ability to minimize operational disruptions related to vehicle readiness. Key performance metrics include vehicle readiness completion rates, fleet task turnaround times, on-time staging of vehicles for utilization support, quick response to vehicle issues, and low error rates in vehicle offboarding and system updates.
The Fleet Support Associate must possess strong driving skills, attention to detail, and a deep sense of responsibility for vehicle condition and regulatory compliance. Beyond transporting vehicles to fueling, cleaning, maintenance, or repair facilities, the associate also ensures compliance by coordinating trips to local regulatory agencies such as the Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for inspection appointments. Maintaining accurate logs, identifying vehicle imperfections, and assisting fleet and operations teams with unplanned logistical needs are additional critical components of this position.
The role demands a high degree of punctuality, reliability, and communication proficiency to handle real-time problem solving in a fast-paced environment. The associate will also serve as the first point of contact for on-site customer inquiries, ensuring inquiries are directed appropriately and service levels remain high. This position requires a strong computer proficiency to accurately complete documentation and track vehicle status in fleet management systems.
Joining Last Stop Garage as a Fleet Support Associate offers candidates an opportunity to grow professionally in a mission-driven company focused on vehicle safety and performance. The compensation package reflects skill, experience, relevant education, and other job-related factors, with a commitment toward employee growth parallel to company expansion. Additionally, a strong benefits package including paid time off, 401k contributions, and medical, dental, and vision plans contributes to a supportive work environment. Team lunches onsite foster community and collaboration among staff.
Overall, the Fleet Support Associate role is designed for individuals passionate about vehicle logistics and maintenance, who thrive in fast-paced settings, and are committed to delivering reliable and high-quality service that ensures a safe and operational fleet at all times.
