SRM Concrete has built its reputation on a foundation of quality, integrity, and superior service, striving to meet and exceed the expectations of its customers, communities, and team members. As a key player in the construction supply chain, SRM Concrete provides reliable, high-quality ready mix concrete solutions that support the growing infrastructure needs across the United States. SRM Concrete is currently hiring Fleet Mechanics who are hands-on problem solvers with a passion for working on diesel engines and heavy equipment. This role is vital in maintaining the reliability and safety of the company’s extensive fleet, which includes mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other essential construction vehicles. Whether you are an experienced diesel mechanic or someone looking to start a rewarding career in fleet maintenance, SRM Concrete offers comprehensive training and support to help you succeed and grow professionally.

Managing repairs effectively reduces downtime, which is critical to keeping projects on track and minimizing operational disruptions.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable using diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify problems and determine the necessary repairs. You will be expected to rebuild, replace, or repair major components such as engine heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions. In addition to technical skills, this position requires a commitment to safety protocols at all times, both in the workshop and on job sites, to protect yourself and your teammates from injury.

Collaboration and communication with the operations team are essential in scheduling maintenance and repairs to maximize fleet availability. Keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair work using company systems is also a significant part of the role to ensure transparency and facilitate ongoing fleet management.

At SRM Concrete, the work environment values teamwork, respect, and recognizing a job well done. Employees enjoy consistent local routes, no Sunday work to support work-life balance, and opportunities for career advancement within a rapidly growing company. The company offers competitive hourly pay with overtime and bonuses, aligning compensation with dedication and performance. Comprehensive benefits include low-cost medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance, as well as paid holidays, paid time off, vacation, a 401k plan with a weekly match, and family-oriented events.

Joining SRM Concrete means more than just having a job; it means being part of a community dedicated to building America’s future.
