With a strong commitment to excellence and customer success, Penske offers a dynamic and supportive workplace where associates enjoy career stability, growth opportunities, and competitive benefits.
Located in Kent, Washington, Penske Truck Leasing is currently seeking a dedicated Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer to join their team. This role is perfect for individuals eager to kickstart a career in vehicle maintenance without prior experience. As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and inspected for safety before returning to the road. This position offers hands-on learning opportunities and coaching in vehicle maintenance, including performing minor repairs such as tire installation, replacement, rotation, and preventive maintenance. Penske equips you with advanced vehicle maintenance technology and comprehensive training programs, allowing you to develop valuable skills that can lead to advancement as a technician.
This role is customer-facing; you will be the first person customers see upon arrival and the last they see when their vehicles are ready. Providing excellent customer service and creating positive experiences are key aspects of this position. You will also contribute to maintaining clean, safe, and organized facilities for both customers and associates. Working at Penske means joining a team that values safety, teamwork, and professionalism, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
The position requires adherence to safety regulations, including DOT and OSHA standards, and maintaining a driver qualification file compliant with these standards. Regular attendance, the ability to work outside in various weather conditions, and a willingness to operate Penske and customer vehicles safely are essential. Physical demands include frequent movement, lifting and moving heavy items up to 100 pounds, and working safely at heights. A valid driver's license is required, and while prior experience is preferred, Penske welcomes applicants who are eager to learn and grow within the company.
This opportunity comes with a competitive starting salary of $26.11 per hour, plus shift premiums, comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and paid time off, and location and schedule flexibility. Penske proudly provides a work environment that supports career advancement and values the individual contributions of each team member. Joining Penske means becoming part of a respected industry leader committed to helping you and its customers move forward together.
