The Division Manager role at Transdev is a full-time position based in Fairfax, VA, supporting the West Ox Division of Fairfax Connector. The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $130,000 annually. The Division Manager will oversee all aspects of day-to-day transit operations to ensure reliable service delivery and maintain the company’s high safety and performance standards.
As the Division Manager, you will play a pivotal role as the primary daily liaison between local management teams and the General Manager across multiple bus operations and maintenance facilities. The position requires leadership in implementing driver assignments, managing dispatch operations, and ensuring operational compliance and service reliability. You will develop and execute strategies to optimize resource allocation, enhance efficiency, and promote a culture of safety as a core organizational value. This role involves close monitoring of operational performance and customer satisfaction to maintain excellence in service delivery.
You will be responsible for managing progressive discipline processes that support employee accountability and development. The role demands experience in transit operations management with a focus on bus operations and maintenance. Strong leadership capabilities are essential for managing multiple priorities and leading cross-functional teams and transit-related projects. A successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, along with a customer-focused mindset and experience with operational, safety, and quality performance metrics.

Job Qualifications
- Strong background in transit operations required
- experience managing bus operations and maintenance environments preferred
- proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- customer focused with strong attention to detail

- experience developing and reporting on operational, safety, and quality performance metrics preferred
