The company is deeply rooted in meaningful relationships, emphasizing a mission to abolish ageism and promote healthy aging. They provide patient-centered care through a skilled team of therapists and fitness professionals working collaboratively to support seniors in achieving better health and maintaining independence. FOX Rehabilitation operates across various settings, including senior living communities and in-home care, ensuring access to quality wellness services for all clients. Their team culture values provider-driven decision-making, continuous growth, and investment in each specialist's professional development.

FOX Rehabilitation is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Fitness Specialist to join their team at a Senior Living Community in [City]. Your ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and power-of-attorney contacts will be essential in increasing awareness and participation in fitness programs.

The role also offers opportunities to extend your reach by traveling to patients' residences for individualized house call sessions and potentially expanding to additional senior living communities as your territory grows. FOX Rehabilitation supports its Fitness Specialists with the flexibility to integrate telehealth and virtual care components, broadening the scope and accessibility of wellness services.

This position is ideal for certified personal trainers, exercise science graduates, or fitness professionals committed to wellness for older adults. You will benefit from working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment that includes PTs, OTs, SLPs, and other fitness specialists dedicated to promoting independence, longevity, and wellness. FOX Rehabilitation fosters an inclusive culture that values diversity and supports your growth as a health and fitness provider within the senior care sector.

The compensation for this role in California ranges from $21.50 to $27.50 per hour, with opportunities for increased earnings based on performance and caseload expansion.
