Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous customer service or reception experience preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized
  • basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation or membership software is a plus
  • ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Job Duties

  • Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • manage member check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries related to fitness services and memberships
  • maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • assist with membership inquiries, registrations, and renewals
  • coordinate with fitness staff regarding class schedules, personal training appointments, and facility maintenance
  • promote fitness programs, classes, and special events to members
  • handle cash, credit card transactions, and membership payments accurately
  • ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • perform administrative duties as needed, including data entry and filing
