The Housekeeper role at Friendship Village - Kalamazoo is a full-time position on the first shift, operating from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the entire Friendship Village campus, including all residential and common areas. The Housekeeper will be entrusted with executing cleaning tasks that contribute directly to creating a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff alike.

This role demands a compassionate, energetic individual who takes pride in attention to detail and exceptional service. The Housekeeper will complete work orders as assigned, maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies in proper condition, and ensure that supplies are stored appropriately after use. Minimal disturbance to residents during cleaning activities is a critical aspect of this position, requiring sensitivity and care. Previous housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred but not mandatory, making this position open to those who are eager to enter the senior care hospitality field.
