Job Requirements
- 3 plus years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent military experience
- 3 plus years of experience in a formal or informal leadership role
- Ability to lead teams and execute within a structured production environment
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Willingness and ability to work a variable shift based on operational needs
Job Qualifications
- 3 plus years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent military experience
- 3 plus years of experience in a formal or informal leadership role
- Ability to lead teams and execute within a structured production environment
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Aerospace manufacturing experience, particularly in Final Assembly, Structures, Interiors, or Flight Test
- Experience leading hourly employees in a production environment
- Proven track record of implementing Lean or continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- FAA A&P Certification
Job Duties
- Lead and inspire frontline manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Execute daily production plans that bring the 787 Dreamliner to life
- Build strong partnerships with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to solve complex challenges
- Develop and coach teammates to unlock their full potential and build future leaders
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles and operational excellence tools
- Foster a culture grounded in safety, quality, accountability, and pride in craftsmanship
- Help position Boeing South Carolina for continued growth, innovation, and production rate increases
