Job Requirements

  • minimum of 1 year related food service experience
  • must obtain servsafe manager or servsafe food handler certification within 60 days
  • ability to maintain sanitation standards
  • physical ability to perform kitchen and cleaning duties
  • compliance with occupational health assessment drug screen and background check
  • eligibility to work in the united states

Job Qualifications

  • previous dietary experience
  • minimum of 1 year related food service experience preferred 2 years
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment
  • effective communication skills
  • commitment to providing age-appropriate food service

Job Duties

  • prepare and serve food for patients staff and customers while following departmental sanitation guidelines
  • ensure food for patients is age and developmentally appropriate
  • operate kitchen equipment including grills and dishwashers
  • perform general cleaning of food service and kitchen areas
  • maintain sanitation and safety standards in all food handling processes
  • support inpatient assessments and outpatient follow-up nutrition services
  • assist in maintaining inventory and supplies for food service
