The role available at Baptist Health involves overseeing and supporting food preparation and production for patient and guest meals, ensuring that food service goals and departmental objectives are achieved consistently. This position requires adherence to standardized recipes, daily production charts, and specific instructions to maintain quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness of food service. The candidate will be expected to follow HACCP procedures and utilize standard food preparation equipment and measuring devices properly. The employment type is full-time, with an estimated pay range of $18.32 to $23.26 per hour depending on experience.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years relevant experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to follow HACCP procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to use standard cooking and measuring equipment safely
- Food Safety Certification obtained within six months of employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, certificate, GED, training or experience required
- Knowledge in principles of sanitation and safety in food handling and equipment
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- One year of trade school or vocational schooling preferred
- Food Safety Certification required within six months of hire
Job Duties
- Oversee and support preparation and production of food for patient and guest meals
- Ensure department goals and objectives are met
- Follow standardized recipes, daily production charts, and instructions
- Ensure food is produced according to requirements of quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness
- Follow HACCP procedures
- Use standard food preparation equipment, utensils, and measuring devices appropriately
