What truly differentiates Baptist Health is its people. Employees forge personal connections that extend beyond the workplace and cultivate meaningful relationships with patients and their families. Many team members share a personal understanding of the patient experience, which inspires a heartfelt commitment to delivering compassionate care. The organization promotes a culture rooted in purpose, where every employee plays an essential role in making a positive impact on the lives they touch. This spirit of care and dedication defines the Baptist Health environment, creating a sense of community and shared mission.
Baptist Health is equally committed to nurturing its staff’s growth and well-being by offering career growth opportunities, comprehensive health and wellness resources, tuition reimbursement programs, and a robust wellness program aimed at reducing medical plan deductibles and out-of-pocket healthcare costs. The organization follows a 'grow our own' philosophy, encouraging long-term career advancement within its supportive framework. The benefits package and employee resources are designed to foster personal and professional development, helping team members build fulfilling careers while making a difference every day.
The available role is a Food Production Supervisor position responsible for overseeing and supporting the preparation and production of food for patient and guest meals within Baptist Health’s healthcare facilities. This role demands close adherence to department goals and objectives to ensure the highest standards of food quality, nutrition, and presentation. The supervisor will implement standardized recipes, manage daily production charts, and work under stringent food service requirements to maintain quality, quantity, temperature, appearance, and timely delivery of meals. It also involves following Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures and using standard kitchen equipment and measuring devices properly. The estimated pay range for this position is $18.32 to $23.82 per hour, depending on experience. This role is ideal for candidates with at least three years of culinary experience, preferably in a hospital setting, and those who have or are willing to obtain food safety certification within six months. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a respected healthcare organization where dedication to patient care and employee support is paramount.
