Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds

- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must be able to walk short distances
- Frequent bending required
- Must be able to withstand temperature changes when entering and exiting walk-in refrigerators
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Five years of cooking experience required
- ServSafe Certification required or to be obtained within six months of employment
Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present food according to quality and productivity standards
- Manage daily production sheets and portion control in line with standardized recipes and special diet needs
- Ensure proper food labeling, covering, and rotation in refrigerators and freezers
- Use, clean, maintain, and store kitchen equipment properly and report any maintenance issues
- Adhere to sanitation and food handling protocols following local, state, federal, and kosher regulations
- Monitor and log food temperatures to maintain safety standards
- Collaborate with Junior and Executive Sous Chefs to ensure timely meal preparation and presentation
