This particular opportunity at Benchmark is for a full-time Finishing Specialist position located in Concord, CA, with a schedule that aligns with Shift 8: Friday through Sunday from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm. This role is integral to the manufacturing and quality assurance process, focused on cleaning, deburring, and cosmetically finishing machined parts to prepare them for final quality inspection and shipment. The position requires working with various finishing tools and processes, adhering to strict quality and safety standards, and collaborating closely with team members to ensure exceptional production outcomes. As a Finishing Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards that Benchmark is known for, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and product excellence.

Job Duties

Read and understand finishing requirements from routers, drawings and specifications
Clean, deburr and complete cosmetic finishing of machined parts utilizing burr knife, file, emery paper, countersink, cratex scotch-brite and other tools and supplies
Work under direct supervision on duties and tasks that are standardized, selecting from written instructions, and established procedures
Complete required documents and provide supervisor with accurate daily production data
Train and assist co-workers with determining best methods to achieve desired results in a timely manner
Work at different workstations to meet production requirements
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order
