This mission emphasizes promoting autonomy and self-direction among residents, whether they live in cottages, apartments, assisted living, memory support, or nursing residences. Cedarfield values culture, stewardship, partnership, diversity, hospitality, and quality, which form the foundation of its work environment and interactions with residents. The organization fosters a team-oriented culture focused on person-centered care and services, aiming to enrich the lives of older adults by encouraging independence and dignity.
The Server role at Cedarfield is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week, with shifts typically from 4 pm to 9 pm. This role actively supports the dining experience of Cedarfield’s residents by delivering fine dining style service within the community’s dining rooms. Servers are assigned a specific section in the dining room where they oversee all aspects of meal service for their residents. Servers may be required to plate food and verify quality and temperature prior to service, ensuring a premium dining experience. Responsibilities also include routine cleaning, dining room set-up, and assistance with special functions. This role requires the ability to work flexible hours including some weekends and holidays, and in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and professionalism are essential.
