The current opportunity is for a part-time, on-site Fine Dining Server with Extensive Wine Knowledge. This role is perfect for a professional who has accumulated a minimum of five years of fine dining service experience and is passionate about delivering exemplary guest experiences. As a Fine Dining Server at The Dock, you will be expected to seamlessly integrate into a collaborative team environment, providing top-tier service that emphasizes attention to detail, presentation, and personalized guest interactions.
The role requires expertise in presenting and recommending menu and wine options, ensuring that each guest receives a refined and memorable dining experience. This includes high-level wine service skills where detailed knowledge about wine varietals, regions, vintages, and pairings will be applied to enhance the guests' dining journey. Beyond serving, the position includes executing side work, bussing, and expo duties, demonstrating versatility and commitment to maintaining the restaurant's high standards. The server will also play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the server room and dining areas, supporting a smooth and efficient operation.
Candidates must be adaptable and thorough in adhering to The Dock's specific policies and protocols, which are designed to sustain excellence in service and team operations. Flexibility in schedule is essential, with shifts generally starting at 3 pm and concluding between 10 pm and 12 am, including availability on weekends and holidays.
