Job Description

The Seminole Gaming is a renowned entity within the hospitality and gaming industry, proudly affiliated with the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This organization is known for its commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment experiences through its diverse and vibrant casino resorts, including fine dining establishments that complement the gaming atmosphere. Seminole Gaming operates with a focus on providing an outstanding guest experience, combining luxurious amenities and attentive service with the rich cultural heritage and values of the Seminole Tribe. The company champions diversity and inclusivity, notably extending employment preference to Native Americans, particularly members of the Seminole Tribe, in alignment with its community values and tribal policies. Team member health and well-being are paramount at Seminole Gaming, supported through a comprehensive benefits package designed to ensure a healthy work-life balance, allowing employees to thrive both professionally and personally. This strong emphasis on employee welfare fosters a harmonious workplace that values each individual's contribution towards the company's success.

The role of a Fine Dining Host at Seminole Gaming is a pivotal position within their fine dining restaurant outlets, situated in a high-energy casino environment. This position is an hourly role, offering a competitive wage of $16 per hour, aimed at individuals who possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for hospitality. The Fine Dining Host serves as the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant, responsible for welcoming and greeting patrons with warmth and professionalism. This role requires gathering essential guest information such as names, party numbers, and seating preferences to facilitate a seamless dining experience. The host must escort guests to their tables, doing so at a comfortable pace that respects the guests' needs and comfort. Beyond guest management, the role also involves promoting positive interactions between guests and employees, contributing to a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The Fine Dining Host is expected to conduct themselves in strict accordance with all Gaming Commission regulations and the policies stipulated by the Seminole Tribe and departmental guidelines, underscoring the importance of compliance and integrity within this role. Additionally, the role demands a high level of physical activity including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or carrying items up to 25 pounds, all within the dynamic and sometimes noisy environment of the casino floor. The ideal candidate presents an image of enthusiasm and professionalism, capable of effective communication in English, and demonstrates a commitment to going above and beyond to create memorable guest experiences that encourage repeat visits. This job also upholds unique employment practices by giving hiring preference to Native American applicants, particularly tribal members, reflecting the company’s dedication to preserving and promoting tribal employment opportunities.
