Job Requirements
- Work seamlessly with the chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Remain calm under pressure and maintain consistency
- Must be available to work from 2:00pm until closing
- Must be available on weekends and holidays
- Ambitious hardworking and team oriented
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Job Duties
- Set up clean and stock kitchen prep station
- Measure weigh cut and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare food and cook main dishes desserts appetizers and snacks
- Plate arrange and garnish dishes based on the chef’s guidance
- Work with servers to ensure orders are completed timely and accurately
- Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking utensils
- Store equipment at the end of shift
- Follow food safety standards and regulations to ensure proper operating procedures and hygiene
