Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant cooking experience in a restaurant or hotel setting
  • Ability to work morning shift hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic culinary education or relevant certifications preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and plating instructions
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Set up, clean, and stock kitchen prep station
  • Measure, weigh, cut, and mix ingredients according to recipes
  • Prepare food and cook main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
  • Plate, arrange, and garnish dishes based on the chef's guidance
  • Work with servers to ensure orders are completed timely and accurately
  • Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking utensils
  • Store equipment at the end of shift
  • Follow food safety standards and regulations to ensure proper operating procedures and hygiene
