Currently, Grandover Resort & Spa is seeking dedicated and experienced professionals to join their culinary team as a Cook at the Finial Restaurant. The Finial Restaurant is a popular dining destination for resort guests, local executives, and members of the surrounding community, known for its inviting atmosphere and delicious cuisine. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are ambitious, hardworking, and team-oriented to contribute to an exceptional dining experience.
In this role, cooks will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes under the guidance of the chef, working collaboratively with other kitchen staff, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen prep stations. The work schedule for this position is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with required availability on weekends and holidays, reflecting the resort's commitment to serving guests throughout the week. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant cooking experience in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Ability to work morning shift hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen

Job Duties
- Set up, clean, and stock kitchen prep station
- Measure, weigh, cut, and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare food and cook main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
- Plate, arrange, and garnish dishes based on the chef's guidance
- Work with servers to ensure orders are completed timely and accurately
- Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking utensils
- Store equipment at the end of shift
- Follow food safety standards and regulations to ensure proper operating procedures and hygiene
