Dukes Steakhouse is a premier fine dining establishment renowned for its exceptional culinary offerings and sophisticated ambiance. Situated within a vibrant entertainment district, Dukes Steakhouse combines exquisite menu selections, including premium steaks and a curated wine list, with impeccable service to deliver an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant prides itself on maintaining a welcoming, elegant environment that caters to discerning guests and culinary enthusiasts alike. Dedicated to excellence, the team at Dukes Steakhouse is committed to upholding the highest standards of customer service, ambiance, and gastronomic quality. This dedication to superior service has earned Dukes Steakhouse a loyal clientele, making it a favored destination for special occasions, business dinners, and gourmet dining experiences.
The Fine Dining Host/Hostess at Dukes Steakhouse plays a crucial role in shaping the initial impression of guests and sustaining the high standards of hospitality for which the restaurant is known. This role requires a poised, personable individual who can manage guest interactions with professionalism and warmth. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, managing reservations efficiently, and ensuring seating arrangements are executed smoothly to balance service across all dining sections. The host or hostess must skillfully accommodate seating preferences and special requests, thereby contributing to an inviting dining atmosphere. A significant part of the position involves communication—relaying guest needs, special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries, and any feedback or complaints to restaurant leadership promptly and accurately.
A refined knowledge of current wine specials and promotions is essential, allowing the host to enhance the guest experience by providing informed recommendations where appropriate, thereby promoting the restaurant's upscale beverage offerings. The role demands adaptability and teamwork, as monitoring the flow of business and adjusting seating and staffing levels are critical to maintaining efficiency and guest satisfaction during peak hours. Familiarity with the Info Genesis System is beneficial for managing reservations and guest records. This position is ideally suited for professionals with prior experience in fine dining environments who possess excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of wine service principles. Compliance with health codes and regulations is mandatory, and the ability to work effectively under conditions such as secondary smoke, noise, and bright lighting is required to maintain comfort and professionalism. This full-time role is foundational to upholding Dukes Steakhouse's reputation as a top-tier dining venue, blending operational excellence with a commitment to guest-centric service.
