- previous experience in fine-dining or upscale hospitality
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- familiarity with Italian cuisine and wine preferred
- basic knowledge of reservation management systems

Job Duties
- Greet guests with a genuine, gracious welcome within 30 seconds of arrival
- manage waitlist, reservations, and seating flow
- escort guests to tables
- present menus and introduce the evening's features such as chef's specials and wine pairings
- assist with special requests
- maintain a calm and organized entrance area
- anticipate and resolve guest needs quickly and discreetly
- coordinate with maitre d', servers, and host team to optimize turnover and preserve dining room ambiance
- manage phone and in-person reservation inquiries professionally
- update reservation system accurately
- uphold dress code and presentation standards
- ensure menus, place settings, and entrance area are immaculate
- handle guest concerns with tact, escalate when necessary, and follow up to ensure satisfaction
