We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Bartender to join our team. This role is pivotal in setting the tone for guest interactions at our establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation, mixing, and serving of drinks, ensuring that all beverages meet our company’s quality and safety standards. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, following all beverage service policies, and adhering strictly to state liquor laws. The bartender will engage guests courteously and professionally, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and support inventory management by keeping established par levels and completing liquor requisitions. Our work environment is primarily inside, with the need to occasionally access storage areas for garnishes and supplies. This role does not require travel, and working hours may vary based on operational needs. While formal education is not required, previous bartending experience is preferred to ensure familiarity with drink preparation techniques and customer service practices. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • ability to read, speak and communicate clearly both written and verbal
  • ability to accurately count cash and give change
  • ability to operate cash register
  • ability to lift up to 36 lbs
  • one year bartending experience preferred
  • ability to carry and lift cases of liquor, soda, ice and glasses
  • ability to bend and kneel to get and stock supplies and glassware
  • continuous standing behind bar to serve guests
  • must have excellent hearing and vision
  • good speech skills
  • good comprehension and literacy
  • knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing solutions for glassware and bar cleaning
  • no formal education required

Job Duties

  • Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls
  • perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
  • ring guest checks
  • collect cash and process credits and room charges in exact compliance with company policies
  • complete liquor requisitions and supply lists
  • know and comply with state liquor laws
  • ensure established pars are maintained
  • perform all side work duties according to side work schedules
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
