Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics or related field
  • eight to ten years of financial planning and analysis experience preferably in consumer durable goods
  • proven experience partnering with marketing teams in FP&A roles
  • working knowledge of GAAP including accruals, reconciliations, and expense capitalization
  • familiarity with Power BI and SQL is a plus
  • strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • ability to manage large datasets and build complex financial models
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work extended hours and occasional travel
  • authorized to work full-time in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Eight to ten years of progressive financial planning and analysis and reporting experience with a demonstrated track record of success at consumer durable goods companies preferred
  • successful record of partnering with marketing organizations in an FP&A capacity with strong understanding of marketing teams and functions
  • proven ability to contribute to business and strategic agenda and lead commercial changes
  • experience working cross-functionally to develop accurate and efficient operational processes
  • experience with multi-brand, multi-national organizations preferred
  • working knowledge of GAAP including accruals, account reconciliations and capitalization versus expense
  • familiarity with Power BI, data mining techniques, and/or SQL preferred
  • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics or related field or equivalent experience
  • highly inquisitive analytical thinker with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • acute business and financial acumen with strong quantitative analytical skills
  • ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports
  • collaborative business partner skilled in building cross-functional relationships
  • strong communication skills with ability to clearly convey business issues, financial results and strategy
  • superior cultural competency and ability to work collaboratively with international counterparts
  • advanced proficiency in Excel with expertise in creating dynamic financial models

Job Duties

  • Partner with marketing and business analytics teams to develop and implement marketing KPIs to assess ROI and drive pipeline creation and conversion
  • own the end-to-end financial management of marketing budgets across various acquisition channels
  • track historical and forecast forward-looking customer lifetime value by collaborating with marketing and data science teams for accurate projections
  • create appropriate metrics, KPIs, reporting tools and dashboards to provide insight into business performance
  • analyze financial data to explain variance drivers including revenue and gross margin volume, rate, and mix analysis
  • establish and manage key ROI and efficiency metrics across products and channels with regular analysis and reporting for continuous improvement
  • generate ad-hoc financial analysis and build financial models critical for strategic decision-making and margin expansion
  • develop and maintain business partner relationships within marketing and across the organization fostering trust and collaboration
  • partner with cross-functional teams to manage marketing programs, tooling and discretionary spending
  • maintain constant interaction with marketing team to align with company strategy
  • assist in ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects
  • own the month-end close process
  • collaborate with accounting team for monthly and quarterly financial closes and incorporate actual results into rolling forecasts
  • automate management reporting, document business processes and implement system driven solutions
