The Finance Operate team at Deloitte plays a critical role in transforming traditional finance functions by providing scalable managed services that empower CFOs, controllers, and finance leaders to modernize their operations and drive more effective decision-making. This team helps clients strengthen controls and improve reporting by utilizing Deloitte’s extensive delivery capabilities and an integrated technology ecosystem tailored to evolving industry needs.

The selected candidate will take a leadership role in architecting and shaping innovative managed services solutions, guiding business development efforts, and ensuring delivery excellence from sales pursuits through to client engagement mobilization. The Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders both within Deloitte and the client organizations to develop client-centric approaches that align with complex finance and accounting challenges faced in today’s financial landscape.

The Manager will also lead governance frameworks, service management processes, and continuous improvement initiatives including automation and technology enablement to optimize finance operations engagements. Given the fast-paced, dynamic environment, the role demands strong multitasking capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the flexibility to adapt and mentor others. Successful candidates will demonstrate outstanding communication skills and the ability to build lasting professional relationships, which are essential for driving consensus and achieving sustainable business outcomes.

This position requires a seasoned finance professional with over ten years of experience in finance transformation, reporting, or controllership, along with substantial expertise in managed services and shared services delivery specific to the Financial Services Industry. The role also includes significant client-facing responsibilities such as proposal development, client presentations, and involvement in pre-request for proposal and request for proposal activities, underscoring the importance of commercial, strategic, and consulting skills alongside technical proficiency. The Manager, Solution Delivery will be a pivotal figure in Deloitte’s Finance Operate team, ensuring the delivery of high-value solutions that enable clients to enhance finance performance at scale while adhering to rigorous compliance and control standards.

This is a full-time position based in the United States, with an expectation of up to 50% travel, depending on client and project needs. Deloitte offers a competitive salary range from $122,000 to $240,500, reflecting varying factors such as experience, skills, certifications, and regional considerations. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for discretionary annual incentives based on individual and organizational performance. The role not only promises a challenging and rewarding career path but also the opportunity to work within one of the world’s most respected professional services firms, contributing to the transformation of the finance function in the financial services domain.
