Job Requirements
- Final mile install experience required
- DOT / MC required
- 26' white box truck with lift gate (clear of advertisements)
- Maintain insurance coverage that meets Ryder requirements
- Pass background check and motor vehicle check
- Operate as an LLC or corporation
- Must operate as a two-person team
Job Qualifications
- Final mile install experience
- Valid DOT and MC registrations
- Proven ability to operate a 26-foot white box truck with a lift gate
- Experience working as a two-person team in delivery operations
- Knowledge of safety and insurance requirements for commercial delivery
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage contractual obligations independently
Job Duties
- Deliver furniture and perform in-home white glove assemblies
- Operate as a two-person team for all delivery routes
- Manage daily routes efficiently to meet compensation targets
- Maintain high standards of customer service during delivery and installation
- Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety regulations
- Communicate proactively with Ryder and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain vehicle and equipment required for furniture delivery and installation
