Job Requirements
- Final mile install experience required
- DOT / MC required
- 26' white box truck with lift gate clear of advertisements
- Maintain insurance coverage that meets Ryder requirements
- Pass background check and motor vehicle check
- Operate as an LLC or corporation
- Must operate as a two-person team
Job Qualifications
- Experience in final mile furniture delivery and installation
- Valid DOT and MC authority
- Ability to operate a two-person delivery team
- Proven record of safe driving and customer service
- Familiarity with white box trucks equipped with lift gates
- Established business entity such as LLC or corporation
- Knowledge of insurance and compliance requirements
Job Duties
- Deliver and install furniture with white glove service
- Operate as a two-person team for all delivery routes
- Manage daily routes efficiently to maximize compensation
- Ensure in-home assemblies meet quality standards
- Maintain vehicle and equipment necessary for deliveries
- Communicate effectively with customers and Ryder dispatch
- Adhere to safety and operational guidelines set by Ryder
