Job Requirements
- Final mile install experience required
- DOT / MC required
- 26-foot white box truck with lift gate (clear of advertisements)
- Maintain insurance coverage that meets Ryder requirements
- Pass background check and motor vehicle check
- Operate as an LLC or Corporation
- Must operate as a two-person team
Job Qualifications
- Experience in final mile furniture delivery and installation
- Valid DOT and MC authority
- Proven ability to operate two-person delivery teams
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of white glove delivery procedures
- Ability to maintain and operate a 26-foot white box truck with lift gate
- LLC or Corporation business structure
Job Duties
- Deliver and install furniture in residential homes
- Provide white glove assembly and installation services
- Operate as a two-person team for all delivery routes
- Manage route efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Maintain truck and equipment in excellent condition
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and Ryder dispatch
