Ryder Last Mile is currently seeking to expand its final mile delivery carrier network by partnering with carriers interested in contracting for furniture delivery and installation. This role involves handling in-home deliveries requiring white glove assembly, ensuring the safe and secure installation of furniture products in customers’ residences. The opportunity is contract-based, appealing to carriers who operate independently and possess the necessary resources and expertise to fulfill these specialized delivery and installation tasks. Contract carriers will benefit from weekly settlements and consistent payment processing within 7 days, promoting reliable cash flow and financial planning. This role requires carriers to provide their own 26-foot white box truck equipped with a lift gate, free of any advertisements, and maintain insurance coverage meeting Ryder’s standards to protect both the carrier and the company. Candidates must also have final mile install experience and operate as an LLC or corporation. A background check and motor vehicle check are mandatory to successfully join the network.
