The Food Runner role is an integral part of our service team and reports directly to the Executive Chef. This position involves coordinating closely with both the front-of-house management and the service team to facilitate seamless communication and delivery throughout the dining service. The Food Runner is responsible for setting up the expo station, which includes preparing garnishes, sauces, and condiments essential for the efficient running of service. Prior to service, the Food Runner ensures that all cleaning and sanitation materials are in place to maintain hygiene standards.
During service, the Food Runner runs food orders in a timely and accurate manner while assisting with plating alongside the Executive Chef. Maintaining the highest standards for plating consistency is critical, as visual presentation profoundly impacts the guest's dining experience. Delivering food with a friendly demeanor and ensuring guests receive their orders promptly reflect the position's customer service focus.
After the family meal concludes, the Food Runner assists with cleaning the line and thoroughly sanitizing the expo station before checking out with the kitchen management team. This role requires attention to detail, effective multitasking, and a positive attitude to enhance the overall operational flow and uphold the establishment's high standards throughout every shift. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to carry trays and stand for long periods
- Ability to follow directions
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Good personal hygiene
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred

Job Duties
- Coordinate with FOH management and service team throughout service
