FIFA26’s vision is to unite the world through the greatest sporting event of all time, redefining excellence and generating opportunities for greater participation and engagement among fans and players not only in North America but globally. This ambitious endeavor involves a vast workforce committed to planning and delivering an extraordinary and unforgettable experience for millions of viewers and attendees. The organization emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and creating an inclusive environment to enhance the fan experience at every venue.

The role of the FIFA Fan Operations Venue Coordinator is a critical position within the FIFA26 Fan Operations team, reporting directly to the FIFA Fan Operations Venue Lead. This fixed term contract role is located onsite in Kansas City and is focused on managing and ensuring a positive and efficient fan experience during match days. The Venue Coordinator serves as the central point of contact for fan services operations at the venue, coordinating with various teams and stakeholders to maintain smooth operations throughout the event.

Key responsibilities include managing Gate Supervisors, briefing and deploying fan operations volunteers, ensuring essential event information is communicated effectively to staff and fans, and collaborating closely with teams such as Accessibility and Audio Descriptive Commentators to deliver high-standard services. This role also involves oversight of restricted item storage, maintenance and deployment of company assets, and working proactively to identify and resolve potential operational issues alongside other departments. The Venue Coordinator must demonstrate leadership skills, initiative, innovation, and sound decision-making abilities under pressure to handle the dynamic and fast-paced environment of a world-renowned sporting event.

Candidates are expected to bring strong problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and the ability to navigate complex communication pathways swiftly. They should be adept at adapting to rapidly changing situations and environments, demonstrating accountability and inclusivity to achieve shared organizational goals. Additionally, experience in event management or operations, particularly in leadership roles involving part-time staff or volunteers, is highly desirable. Proficiency in English is required, with Spanish and/or French considered a plus, alongside solid tech skills using Microsoft Office suite and planning software. FIFA26 offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, as well as a 401k retirement plan, making this an exceptional opportunity for professionals eager to contribute to one of the most significant sporting events globally.
