By embracing this expanded format, FIFA26 aims to enhance the event's scope, participation, and fan engagement, creating unparalleled experiences for players and devotees worldwide. The organization is driven by the vision of uniting the world through football, fostering inclusivity and excitement across North America and beyond.
The FIFA World Cup 26TM promises to be an extraordinary event that redefines sporting excellence. To help realize this vision, the organization is seeking dedicated individuals to join its workforce, especially in roles crucial to ensuring flawless fan operations during match days. One such key role is the FIFA Fan Operations Gate Supervisor, a pivotal position within the Fan Operations team. This role is based onsite in Philadelphia under a fixed-term contract and focuses specifically on match-day activities.
The Gate Supervisor reports organizationally to the Fan Operations Venue Lead and operates at the frontline of the fan experience. They are instrumental in managing volunteer staff working at stadium entry points, helping guarantee a seamless entry process, and upholding safety and security standards. Their role involves coordinating volunteer deployments, facilitating communication among teams, and swiftly identifying and addressing any issues related to crowd flow, security compliance, or guest services.
This role demands strong leadership and organizational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration across security, operations, and management sectors. Supervisors must be adept at decision-making under pressure, maintaining professional composure during critical moments, and ensuring that fan operations align with FIFA26 policies and legal requirements. Effective communication with stakeholders, including volunteers, fans, vendors, and management, is essential to maintain a positive and controlled environment.
Additionally, the Gate Supervisor serves as a resource and support figure for volunteers, overseeing their welfare, handling their breaks, and providing necessary feedback. Monitoring gate activities and reporting to the Fan Operations Coordinator form key responsibilities of this position, ensuring continuous improvement in venue operations. The ability to guide fans with clear information and assist in navigating the stadium environment further enhances the overall fan experience.
FIFA26 values qualities such as accountability, inclusivity, innovation, and leadership in its workforce. The role encourages initiative and vision to respond proactively to challenges and foster efficient team collaboration. Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills in Spanish or French considered advantageous, reflecting the diverse and international nature of the event. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related planning software supports operational efficacy.
The employment opportunity is suited for candidates with at least two years of supervisory experience in gate services or comparable roles, with a proven ability to lead teams effectively, preferably with volunteer management experience. The position requires availability for all match days at the venue, underscoring the commitment necessary to support this global event. FIFA26 also offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance as well as a 401k retirement plan, reflecting its commitment to employee welfare and long-term wellbeing.
Joining FIFA26 in this capacity not only offers a chance to contribute to a landmark international event but also enables personal and professional growth within a dynamic, multicultural environment dedicated to excellence in sport and fan engagement.
