The role of FIFA Fan Operations Gate Supervisor is critical to the success of match day experiences at FIFA World Cup 26 venues. It is a match day-only position, requiring participation in mandatory pre-tournament training. Reporting directly to the Fan Operations Venue Lead, the Gate Supervisor will lead a team of Fan Operations Volunteers, ensuring operational efficiency and safety at entry gates. The supervisor acts as the primary point of contact for volunteers, coordinating their deployment, managing breaks, and overseeing their welfare. The Gate Supervisor is responsible for monitoring gate operations, maintaining compliance with security and access control standards, and addressing any crowd flow or operational issues promptly. The role demands strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with security teams, vendors, and other operational staff to maintain a smooth and secure fan experience from last mile arrival to stadium entrance. The position requires a proactive approach for problem-solving, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations, and providing fans with clear wayfinding and assistance. Candidates must demonstrate accountability, decisiveness under pressure, inclusivity, initiative, innovation, and vision to embody the values and meet the demands of this high-profile event. This fixed term contract role is onsite in New York/New Jersey and offers a competitive daily pay of $225, aligned with local regulations and candidate qualifications. FIFA26 also provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401k retirement plan.
