Job Description

Fieldwork Brewing Company, established in 2015 in Berkeley, California, has grown into a prominent name within the Bay Area craft beer community. Renowned for its evolving selection of fresh craft beers, genuine beer-making philosophy, and outstanding hospitality, the company continues to attract beer lovers and community members alike. The Santa Rosa location, situated in Montgomery Village, embodies this tradition by serving as a welcoming communal hub for friends, families, and neighbors. Guests frequent this venue for a variety of experiences, whether it is enjoying a pint before heading out shopping, savoring fresh salads and pizzas after work, or sampling craft non-alcoholic beverages. The company’s mission focuses on creating a warm and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable and valued.

The role of a Fieldwork Associate within this vibrant setting is central to delivering the Fieldwork Brewing Company's commitment to hospitality and quality service. Fieldwork Associates are vital front-of-house team members who are enthusiastic, guest-oriented, and passionate about great beer and food. This position is particularly suited for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-driven environment and are eager to connect with guests. The role encompasses welcoming guests with heartfelt hospitality, guiding them through the rotating beer selections and non-alcoholic beverages, and ensuring that food and drink service surpasses expectations. Attention to detail is key, as associates must accurately handle cash and credit transactions while complying with company policies. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining all food safety standards when expediting food orders and keeping both the interior location and outdoor patio clean, well-stocked, and inviting.

Further responsibilities include supporting setup, breakdown, and restocking of canned product displays and strictly following all alcohol service, health, and safety regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for customers and staff alike. The position offers competitive pay starting at $17.87 per hour plus tips and is open for both full-time and part-time employees. Employees are eligible for overtime pay and receive meal and rest breaks in compliance with California state laws. The company values growth and development, providing paid training and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team culture. The Santa Rosa location emphasizes creating a space where community members gather to share experiences centered around quality craft beverages and exceptional customer service.
