Job Description

Benco Dental is the largest privately owned, full-service dental distributor in the United States, with a rich history dating back to 1930. As a family-owned business for over 90 years, Benco Dental has grown to serve more than 40,000 customers through a dedicated team of over 1,500 associates across the 48 contiguous states. The company prides itself on offering more supply and equipment options than any other full-service distributor, complemented by comprehensive services such as office design, equipment repair, practice coaching, financing and project management, wealth management, and dental-specific technology solutions. This broad offering is supported by a network of more than 400 professionally trained sales representatives and 300 factory-trained service technicians who always prioritize the customer's needs, starting every task by asking, "What does the customer want?" Benco Dental is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture, promoting equal opportunity for all associates and customers, and encouraging growth and development among its team members.

The Field Service/Installation Technician position at Benco Dental is a vital and rewarding role integral to the company’s mission of driving dentistry forward. This role primarily involves hands-on support in the field, providing maintenance, repairs, and installation services to customers while ensuring exemplary customer service. The technician acts as an independent team player who embraces responsibility with a customer-focused mindset, offering solutions beyond basic repairs to support the continued success of dental practices. This position offers excellent compensation packages, including medical, dental, and vision benefits effective on day one, a 401k package, paid time off, profit sharing, associate discounts, and more. Certified as a FORTUNE Great Place to Work, Benco offers a caring family culture, diversity and inclusion resource groups, a college tuition savings program, and is recognized for community giveback programs. This field-based role requires frequent travel to customer sites and occasional use of power tools, and it is perfect for candidates with mechanical, electrical, customer service, military, software/hardware, pneumatics, or HVAC backgrounds who are eager to transition into the dental equipment service industry. The compensation range is competitive, with a base pay range of $23.80 to $27.50 per hour for candidates meeting minimum qualifications, with additional financial rewards possible through bonuses and profit sharing. Candidates who thrive in dynamic, independent, and technical roles will find this opportunity fulfilling and aligned with their career development aspirations.
