The role of Route Delivery Driver at GA Foods is essential to the company’s mission. Employment is contingent upon a successful background check through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Job Requirements
- Valid driver license with no DUI in last 5 years and 0-4 current points
- Minimum 3 years prior route delivery/distribution experience preferred
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification
- Good communication and customer service skills
- General office equipment and computer experience
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow
- Successful completion of background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, climbing, balancing
- Regular attendance to meet employer's attendance policy
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Safe delivery of food items and supplies to customer homes/sites in a timely and accurate manner
- Vehicle upkeep and cleanliness
- Maintain food safety and handling procedures with compliance to temperature requirements
- Report any deficiencies or problems to supervisor promptly
- Maintain driver scorecard and other required recordkeeping
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain service records
- Check vehicle fluid levels and perform general routine inspection of vehicle to ensure all is in working order
- Assist with packing and/or storing of food items, components and/or supplies as required
- Regular attendance required to meet employer's attendance policy to ensure customer deliveries can be accomplished as scheduled
- Other duties as assigned by management
