The Project Manager – Field Service role is an exciting opportunity based in San Jose, CA. This position is fully on-site and requires working from the office five days a week, with the expectation of traveling domestically about 25% of the time. Reporting directly to the Director of Field Service, the Project Manager will play an essential role in managing key projects that support the Service Department. These projects include both internal initiatives and external customer energy site engagements. The candidate will be responsible for tracking engineering cost reduction efforts, overseeing the day-to-day management of internal service projects, and leading the execution of large projects with external customers.

This role demands strong cross-functional coordination, requiring collaboration with departments such as Supply Chain, Construction, Engineering, Quality, and Finance. The Project Manager will ensure effective communication across teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The position calls for a proactive, problem-solving mindset with proven experience in managing complex projects involving construction activities and electrical systems, specifically industrial electric up to 480V 3-phase.

Success in this role necessitates excellent communication skills, the ability to organize and lead diverse teams, and a track record of delivering projects with clear timelines and critical paths. Familiarity with software tools like Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project is highly desirable. Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on project management experience

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • experience managing projects with cross-functional teams
  • experience with electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase
  • familiarity with software tools such as Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • proven project management experience in construction
  • problem-solving and self-starter attitude
  • PMP certification, MS or MBA is a plus
  • energy industry experience in commercial or data center environments is a plus
