The company is dedicated to pioneering sustainable energy solutions that reduce carbon footprints and promote environmental stewardship through innovative technology and operational excellence. Archaea Energy focuses on the development, construction, and management of RNG, landfill-gas-to-electric, and dairy digester facilities, contributing significantly to a cleaner, greener energy ecosystem. The Field Service/Maintenance Technician role at Archaea Energy is a highly skilled position based in the Memphis, TN area, designed for professionals adept in mechanical, electrical, electronic, and instrumentation work. This role entails the installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of diverse plant equipment critical to Archaea’s operations. The role demands strong communication and organizational skills, a strong safety orientation, and the flexibility to work extended hours and adapt to shifting schedules based on business needs.

Archaea offers a comprehensive introductory employment period of 90 days, aiming to support a smooth transition into the role and enable mutual fit assessment. During this time, employee performance is evaluated against criteria including attendance, work quality, adherence to company policies, and collaboration skills. Upon successful completion of the introductory period, employees continue their at-will employment with Archaea.

Compensation for this position ranges from $46,000 to $50,000 annually, reflecting the expected base salary for the role, alongside generous paid vacation ranging from 120 to 240 hours per year, nine paid holidays, and two personal choice holidays. The total rewards and wellbeing package includes quarterly bonuses, 401K participation, health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability coverage. Archaea Energy places a strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion, offering an environment where employees can learn, grow, and contribute to a more sustainable energy future while being supported both professionally and personally.

Joining Archaea means becoming part of a mission-driven company playing a vital role in bp’s ambition to become a net zero company by 2050 or sooner.
