The company boasts a strong footprint across the United States with multiple specialized divisions, serving diverse industrial sectors by delivering state-of-the-art machinery and technical solutions.

The Field Service Engineer role at Liebherr USA Co., based in Hialeah Gardens, Florida, is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician with expertise in maintaining and repairing port equipment, such as ship-to-shore cranes, rubber-tired gantry cranes, and rail-mounted gantry cranes. This position involves working directly with Liebherr’s sophisticated machinery to diagnose, repair, and overhaul essential mechanical and electrical systems. The engineer applies a strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical theories to inspect and modify operational equipment, ensuring that all machinery runs efficiently and safely according to manufacturer specifications.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED and technical abilities to handle a wide variety of maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, dismantling, and reassembling heavy equipment.

Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to maintain accurate paperwork, from timesheets to detailed reports on repairs and hours worked. Safety is a priority in this role, with candidates promoting and adhering to established safety protocols for themselves and their team.

The comprehensive benefits package includes major medical, dental, and vision insurance to cover healthcare needs; a robust 401K retirement plan with company match to ensure financial future; and paid vacation and personal days to encourage a healthy work-life balance. The company fosters a positive and respectful workplace culture where punctuality, professionalism, and enthusiasm are celebrated. Employees are encouraged to stay engaged in ongoing training to remain up to date with evolving technical advancements and company programs.
