The available position is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with distributor sales representatives and works both independently and collaboratively with District Managers to increase sales volumes and productivity. This role is integral to upholding and expanding AriZona’s presence in the marketplace by achieving monthly sales and distribution targets, managing brand standards, and enhancing the visibility of AriZona products through strategic point-of-sale initiatives and retail sampling events.

In this role, the individual will conduct sales meetings, rallies, and brand launches to motivate and align distributor efforts with AriZona's business goals. Managing local point-of-sale rooms and monitoring inventory ensures that merchandise availability aligns with demand, preventing stockouts and maximizing sales opportunities. Regular participation in "work-withs"—collaborative work sessions with distributors—facilitates hands-on support and real-time problem solving.

The position demands creativity in increasing consumer awareness by building displays and executing point-of-sale (POS) materials in various retail formats, including large and small accounts. Selling in branded displays, racks, end caps, glide racks, barrels, and cooler equipment provides incremental points of interruption that capture retailer and consumer attention, all while leveraging AriZona's brand functionality and category profit story to gain incremental shelf space.

Inventory control, rotation management at the retailer level, and resetting store shelving as needed ensure that AriZona's products are always presented in the best possible manner. The role also involves prospecting for new accounts, developing a working knowledge of potential customers, and cold calling to expand the brand’s reach. Retail sampling events are strategically set up to drive consumer trials and spur incremental growth.

Overall, the position calls for a proactive self-starter with strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, capable of working under pressure and adapting quickly to change. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering sales results, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain successful partnerships with distributors and accounts. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed are also essential.
