Field Quality Manager (Solar/ Renewables - Nationwide Opportunities!)

This role for a Field Quality Manager provides a unique opportunity to be part of MasTec's extensive rotational program, enabling professionals to travel up to 100% across the United States, working onsite at various project locations. You will typically spend 8 to 16 months at each project, supported by a competitive salary package within the $100,000 to $120,000 range, daily per diem allowances, company vehicle, and fuel card. The position is full-time and requires extensive travel and onsite engagement, ensuring construction meets stringent quality standards.

The Field Quality Manager role is pivotal to the success of MasTec's renewable projects, ensuring inspection readiness, compliance controls, and standardized processes across multiple project sites. You will support Field Quality Managers by providing coaching, conducting audits, facilitating training, and leading site engagement to resolve non-conformances through root cause analysis. The role involves driving continuous improvement initiatives by developing quality standards, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing lessons learned and Lean practices. As a key figure in promoting adherence to the Quality Program, you will collaborate closely with Quality Engineers, Procurement, and project teams to ensure consistent execution of quality plans and deliverables.

Ideal candidates will bring a strong background in quality management, construction or industrial technology, and demonstrated skills in communication, data analysis, and quality control software such as Procore and Zavanta. You will be responsible for developing inspection test plans, managing documentation systems, and leading training programs to advance the company’s quality objectives. This position demands exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to lead and mentor onsite quality teams while working closely with various stakeholders across the industry.
