Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to obtain ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I Certification within 9 months of start date
- Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required
- Ability to lift objects repeatedly up to 100 lbs
- Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects
- Ability to tolerate all environmental temperatures and weather conditions
- Ability to repeatedly reach, squat, and tolerate prolonged standing, walking, and sitting
- Ability to repeatedly walk on uneven surfaces
- Regular attendance at the worksite or assigned location required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I Certification within 9 months of start date
- Attention to detail and maintaining data integrity
- Good observation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work without direct supervision
- Must work well with others in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude fostering effective relationships
- Ability to quickly understand and adhere to safety requirements
- Good computer input skills
- Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required
- Ability to work near, around, or on light or heavy equipment
Job Duties
- Obtain and perform necessary tests for concrete samples and aggregate products in an outdoor environment
- Record and maintain test data and other required information including written records and data input into a personal computer
- Work safely and take action to prevent all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors
- Regular attendance at the worksite or assigned work location
- Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as assigned on a temporary or permanent basis
