They foster an environment that values diversity, encourages professional growth, and emphasizes work-life balance. Employees benefit from a range of development opportunities, employee resource groups, and competitive benefits that support overall well-being. Liberty Mutual strives to create a culture of respect and inclusion, ensuring each team member feels valued and inspired to contribute meaningfully to the company’s mission and the communities they serve.
The Field Property Claims Adjuster role at Liberty Mutual is designed for individuals who enjoy dynamic, varied work days and meeting new challenges head-on. This local territory-based field position centered in Kansas City, MO (64116), and nearby areas requires candidates to engage directly with homeowners to assess property damage and facilitate the claims process empathetically and effectively. The adjuster travels to insured homes to investigate and evaluate property damage, prepare detailed repair estimates, and provide clear guidance on coverage and repairs. The role demands an ability to work independently, manage workloads from the initial notice of loss to claim closure, and deliver exceptional customer service.
In addition to fieldwork that involves inspecting various parts of the home, including potentially climbing ladders or entering attics and crawl spaces, the adjuster will coordinate with vendors, contractors, and emergency repair services to ensure comprehensive claim resolution. Liberty Mutual supports this role with a comprehensive five-month training program that is primarily virtual, complemented by necessary in-person sessions in Lewisville, TX. The role includes mileage reimbursement with the possibility to qualify for a company vehicle contingent upon meeting mileage requirements. Furthermore, a sign-on bonus is available for experienced and licensed new hires.
Liberty Mutual emphasizes a competitive salary structure that factors in skills, experience, education, and relevant certifications. The compensation plan may also include commissions or bonuses, reflecting the employee’s performance and contribution. The company’s philosophy centers on valuing integrity, hard work, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Employees are empowered to grow within their roles and enjoy a supportive environment that promotes inclusion and professional development.
In summary, the Field Property Claims Adjuster position offers a rewarding career path for individuals passionate about helping others during challenging times, who also appreciate autonomy and the opportunity to work directly with customers in the field. Candidates living in or near Kansas City, MO, seeking to join a reputable organization that invests in its people and prioritizes inclusion and supportive benefits are encouraged to apply. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and are looking to make a meaningful impact through their work.
