The company is well-known for its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and creating value for customers through science-based solutions. Ecolab’s Pest Elimination team exemplifies this commitment by providing industry-leading commercial pest control services tailored to safeguard public health, protect food safety, and maintain property integrity. Their services span various sectors such as restaurants, hospitals, retail stores, schools, hotels, and food and beverage plants, among others. With a focus on sustainability and safety, Ecolab integrates cutting-edge technology and expert knowledge to tackle the most challenging pest problems in commercial environments.
This job posting is for a Field Operations Manager position based in the Twin Cities metropolitan area, MN. The role is field-based and involves leading and developing a team of 8 to 10 Service Specialists. These specialists are responsible for delivering pest detection, elimination, and prevention services with a high standard of excellence and compliance with regulations. The primary responsibilities include spearheading district initial services, coaching the team to meet service and financial goals, seeking new business opportunities, and ensuring quality assurance through inspections. This position demands strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to foster a culture of safety within the team.
Ecolab offers an attractive compensation range of $75,000 to $110,000 annually, which includes base salary and performance-based incentives. From day one, associates enjoy a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k) matching, pension plans, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, options for company stock purchase, and discounted childcare resources. Additionally, the role comes with a company service vehicle and access to best-in-class resources and technology to support success and growth.
The ideal candidate possesses a high school diploma or equivalent with at least three years of experience in field support or service-related industries. They should be capable of handling overnight shifts, obtaining necessary pest certifications and licenses, and must hold a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, leadership experience, sales proficiency, exceptional organizational skills, bilingual communication abilities (English and Spanish), and experience managing budgets and profit and loss responsibilities. The physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, working in various challenging environments, and operating vehicles safely.
Joining Ecolab’s Pest Elimination team means contributing to a mission that protects communities by controlling pests that threaten health and safety. The company’s inclusive culture ensures each associate has equal opportunity to thrive, grow professionally, and impact positively the markets they serve. Ecolab also emphasizes compliance with legal standards such as COVID-19 vaccination where required and provides reasonable accommodations for disabilities, fostering a workplace that embraces diversity and equal employment opportunities.
