The Field Operations Administrator role at The Expo Group is a pivotal position based in Irving, Texas, designed to support the seamless execution of tradeshow events nationwide. This hybrid role demands a highly organized and efficient professional capable of coordinating and supporting field operations to guarantee smooth show execution across the country. The Field Operations Administrator will work closely with Field Operations Managers and Supervisors, playing a vital role in managing travel arrangements, maintaining accurate show documentation including travel files and SharePoint folders, and supporting payroll and billing audits. Additionally, this position involves assisting with budget preparation and performance tracking, as well as generating detailed operational reports to aid decision making.
This role requires the individual to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve overall operational efficiency, ensuring all activities comply with internal policies and safety procedures. The candidate must be adept at multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication and decision-making skills. The position involves up to 40% travel, often for extended periods, and occasional physical activities such as lifting weights between 20 to 50 pounds, along with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and walking within office and warehouse environments.
