Job Description
Medallia is a pioneering leader in Experience Management, widely recognized for its award-winning SaaS platform, Medallia Experience Cloud. This powerful platform is at the forefront of managing experiences, insights, and actions across a broad spectrum of stakeholders including candidates, customers, employees, patients, and residents. Medallia’s technology and philosophy are deeply rooted in the belief that every experience forms lasting memories that significantly influence how individuals perceive a company. These experiences not only affect personal sentiment but also critically impact advocacy, contribution, and retention rates within organizations. Committed to fostering environments where organizations are genuinely loved by their customers and employees, Medallia empowers exceptional individuals to collaborate in creating extraordinary experiences that drive meaningful business outcomes.
Medallia is currently seeking a Senior Manager for B2B Field Marketing, a role tailored for an outcome-driven professional who excels in designing and delivering exclusive, high-touch events aimed at accelerating enterprise sales pipeline. This position is not simply about coordinating logistics; it is about crafting extraordinary environments where Medallia’s largest enterprise business deals are nurtured and forged. The ideal candidate will possess an eye for luxury hospitality combined with strategic B2B marketing acumen and a relentless drive to influence the company’s bottom line through impactful event experiences.
This senior role demands a sophisticated balance of strategic business insight, meticulous attention to detail, and superior communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will interface regularly with internal teams and external C-suite executives, ensuring that every experience enhances relationships and delivers measurable return on investment. With up to 30% travel required across North America for onsite execution and hosting of VIP audiences, this position calls for a dynamic leader comfortable in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Preference will be given to candidates located near the Tysons area due to the hybrid working model requiring three days per week onsite presence.
In this role, the Senior Manager will be responsible for curating bespoke experiences including exclusive VIP dinners, experiential events, sponsorships, and hosted programs that embody Medallia’s brand and strategic goals. They will manage all facets of event production from selecting luxurious venues and handling vendor negotiations to maintaining budgets and ensuring flawless execution. The role involves serving as the professional onsite lead during events, expertly orchestrating logistics and engaging with executive-level attendees to elevate the experience. Candidates must demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple high-profile event timelines simultaneously without compromising on detail and quality.
Further responsibilities include partnering closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to align event strategies with high-value target accounts and acting as an internal consultant to senior account executives for engagement and invitation strategies. The Senior Manager will champion events internally, driving cross-functional team collaboration and managing post-event follow-up communications to leverage executive momentum and pipeline acceleration.
Measurement and reporting are core to this role, with the Senior Manager responsible for tracking critical metrics such as target account penetration and pipeline generation. They will synthesize complex event data into concise reports for leadership and continuously optimize event formats and ROI through feedback and data analysis. Cross-functional collaboration with Content, Creative, and Product Marketing teams will ensure event themes resonate with executive audiences, while managing strategic partnerships that enhance the value and compliance of VIP experiences.
Medallia offers a competitive annual base salary range of $123,000 to $185,000, commensurate with experience, role responsibilities, and business considerations. In addition to competitive pay, Medallia provides comprehensive health and wellness benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), disability, life and AD&D insurance, paid parental leave, statutory leaves, and paid holidays. The company champions diversity and inclusion, striving to create an equitable environment for all employees. Medallia is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to accommodating applicants with disabilities and maintaining applicant privacy. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative global leader committed to transforming experience management through exceptional event marketing leadership.
