Job Description

Stanislaus Food Products is a nationally recognized, family-owned company renowned for producing the finest Italian-style tomatoes and sauces. Serving top-quality Italian restaurants and pizzerias across the country, Stanislaus Mission focuses on attracting quality-oriented restaurateurs who value superior ingredients such as consistently excellent tomatoes and olive oil. The company emphasizes legendary customer service and is deeply invested in fostering talented professionals who share a dedication to customer success and culinary excellence. Founded on strong family values and a commitment to quality, Stanislaus Food Products has built a reputation as a leader in the premium tomato product market, combining traditional Italian flavors with modern production and marketing practices.

Located at the Modesto administrative office, this full-time, exempt position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $115,000 annually. The Field Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role within the Marketing department, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing. This role is ideal for an experienced marketing professional with strong project management skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team while overseeing complex, cross-functional projects. The Field Marketing Manager is responsible not only for executing and delivering key marketing initiatives but also for strategic planning, prioritization, and people leadership, including oversight of the company’s Fulfillment Center.

The primary responsibilities include managing customer mailings, tradeshow logistics, customer events, and marketing collateral development and maintenance. The individual will coordinate with internal creative teams and external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of marketing campaigns and mailings, adhering to brand standards and regulatory compliance. Tradeshow responsibilities encompass planning and operational leadership, overseeing logistical details such as vendor management, booth setup, transportation, staffing, and on-site execution to maximize the company’s presence and engagement at such events.

Additionally, the Field Marketing Manager will orchestrate customer events from start to finish, including selection of venues, decoration, vendor coordination, and customer engagement strategies that strengthen brand loyalty and grow market presence. Collaboration with the Marketing and Creative teams is crucial for developing, refining, and managing marketing materials, with close attention to inventory and updates facilitated by partnership with the Fulfillment team. This role also ensures marketing assets are properly stored and accessible via the company’s digital asset management system, aligning with intellectual property and governance standards.

As a leader, this position demands adeptness in managing project timelines, schedules, and dependencies while coaching and developing the marketing team. Effective communication with both internal stakeholders and external vendors is vital for seamless project execution. The Field Marketing Manager must provide regular updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior marketing leadership.

Candidates should bring a strong background in project management, team leadership, and marketing, coupled with proficiency in various software tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, and Outlook. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed is essential. The role involves moderate physical activity including lifting up to 45 lbs and spending time in warehouse and event spaces, demanding physical dexterity and stamina.

Overall, this position offers an outstanding opportunity for a marketing professional eager to contribute to a respected brand known for quality and tradition, while advancing their career in a supportive, stable, and growth-oriented environment. Stanislaus Food Products values employee wellbeing, offering comprehensive benefits across physical, social, developmental, emotional, financial, and nutritional wellness, making it an employer of choice for those committed to excellence.
