Job Description

Casey's is a renowned convenience store chain and restaurant company with a strong presence in multiple states, widely recognized for its commitment to high-quality service and community involvement. Operating over 2,300 stores primarily in the Midwest, Casey's has established itself as a trusted brand offering fresh made-from-scratch pizza, bakery items, and a wide array of convenience products. As a company that values its roots, Casey's fosters a work culture centered around teamwork, service excellence, and respect for both customers and employees. Emphasizing growth and support, Casey’s offers competitive benefits and career advancement opportunities for its dedicated team members.

The Field Maintenance Technician role at Casey’s is a vital position that ensures the smooth operation and maintenance of essential equipment and systems across a territory of 12 to 15 stores in Lincoln and surrounding areas. This full-time, Monday through Friday position offers a significant benefit often sought by skilled tradespeople: the ability to be home every night and have weekends free, eliminating the need for on-call or weekend hours. With a starting pay range of $24.80 to $32.50 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual cash bonus based on company performance, this role promises rewarding compensation. Casey’s also supports its technicians by providing company vehicles, fuel cards, tools, and technology including laptops, tablets, and phones to aid in completing daily responsibilities efficiently.

In the role, the Field Maintenance Technician will handle comprehensive service and maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines including HVAC and refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical, fuel systems, and general building upkeep. This position is critical in maintaining the operational integrity of Casey’s stores, ensuring customers receive uninterrupted service and quality experiences. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates moving into the designated service area. Additionally, the company promotes a supportive and engaging work environment that encourages personal and professional growth.

Beyond the technical skills required, the role emphasizes a strong customer service ethic to support store teams and management effectively. Employees enjoy numerous benefits such as two weeks of vacation upon hire, health, dental and vision insurance, paid parental leave, a 401(k) plan with a company match, meal discounts, overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate, daily pay options, and an annual uniform allowance. These benefits underscore Casey’s commitment to recognizing and supporting its employees.

Joining Casey’s as a Field Maintenance Technician means becoming part of a company that works hard and values having fun while doing it. Team members take pride in serving their communities and each other, providing a stable career with opportunities to grow. If you seek a balanced work schedule, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to contribute to a successful and community-focused company, this position offers a promising opportunity to thrive.
