Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a leading fast-casual restaurant chain renowned for its mission to Cultivate A Better World by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food with wholesome ingredients that contain no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Established as a pioneer in the fast-casual dining sector, Chipotle is dedicated not only to providing a great guest experience but also to driving positive change in the food industry through sustainable business practices, innovative technology, and digital advancements. Currently operating restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle stands out as the only restaurant company of its size to own and operate all its locations in North America and Europe. This approach ensures that the company maintains high-quality standards and consistent operational excellence across every store.
Chipotle is rapidly expanding, opening a new restaurant approximately every two days. This significant growth requires dynamic, committed leadership capable of overseeing multiple restaurant locations to ensure operational success and exceptional guest experiences. The Field Leader position is a critical growth leadership role within Chipotle that involves managing strong partnerships with restaurant managers and driving superior business and operational outcomes. In this role, leaders are responsible for instilling a food safety-first culture, fostering team development, and maintaining a laser-focused commitment to the guest experience. Field Leaders must also demonstrate robust business acumen, including profit and loss (P&L) management, sales forecasting, staffing strategies, and other essential operational functions. They act as multitasking professionals willing to step in and assist their teams whenever necessary, exemplifying leadership, resilience, and adaptability.
As part of the Chipotle team, Field Leaders enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k retirement savings plan, quarterly bonuses, and opportunities for people-development incentives. In addition, the company offers tuition assistance with 100% coverage for select degrees or up to $5,250 per year, supporting continuous career growth and development for all employees. Additional perks include a company car or mileage reimbursement, paid time off, and holiday closures. This role provides challenging and rewarding career advancement opportunities in a fast-growing and innovative company with a values-driven culture dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for all individuals.
Chipotle’s inclusive hiring practices invite qualified applicants regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics to join a workplace that promotes respect and maximizes employees’ potential. Accommodations for applicants with disabilities are available to ensure equal access to employment opportunities. Field Leaders play a pivotal role in shaping the future of food by leading multiple restaurants to success while embodying Chipotle’s mission and values in a rapidly evolving industry.
